About Pro-Mark

History

1992 - The ESEN Group was established as a result of 15 years experience in sales and marketing by its Managing Director, James Knox, over 18 years ago.

1993 to 1998 - Over successive years it established a highly successful portfolio of 3 major national business-to-business magazines within the Construction Industry. During the development of the publications, the company established highly skilled advertising, circulation management and print/design departments. It was therefore a natural progression for the company to offer these services to new clients and develop its marketing/contact centre services.

1999 - The ESEN Group's continued expansion saw the opening of its Manchester office.

2008 - The ESEN Group developed Pro-Mark Business Development to service the call centre industry. Pro-Mark Call Centre and Marketing services experienced great success. Working with clients within the automotive industry, it quickly establish a reputation for an excellent quality of service that exceeded results. The contact centre has continued to expand, taking on numerous new clients and developed services such as Appointment Setting, Lead Generation, Customer Services, Inbound & Outbound marketing, and many more.

2009 - Pro-Mark Business Development appointed Chris Steed as Call Centre Manager. Chris has nearly a decade of experience working within the contact centre industry and has worked with a host of clients,within the Publishing, Financial & utilities markets. Since his appointment, Chris has continued the progress of the business by expanding the sites capacity, extending the services that they are able to offer to clients and bringing on board exciting new projects.

Present - Pro-Mark’s call centre services continue to provide a cost effective solution to its customer’s marketing needs, acquiring new contracts in multiple industries & offering a wide range of Marketing/Contact Centre services.

Meet the team

John Chapman

Chief Executive Officer

Coming from a background in international textiles sales, John Chapman moved into media. His career progressed from Newspaper to Commercial Radio before becoming the Sales Director for the 2nd largest commercial radio station. He then established his own consultancy firm, working with clients such as Guardian Media Group, Manchester Evening News and MEN Arena. In 2006 he joined Esengroup as a Business Development Manager before becoming Sales Director. John was appointed CEO of Pro-Mark in May 2009.



Chris Steed

Call Centre Manager

Chris Steed joined the company in December 2009 as Call Centre Manager. He has nearly 10 years experience working within the call centre industry in a variety of roles. Having worked with a variety of large corporate clients, including Haymarket, Hitachi Capital and Allianz, Chris has an advanced knowledge of the Financial Services and Publishing call centre industries.



Tom Knox

Business Development Manager (Call centre services)

Tom Knox joined the company in 2008. He worked his way up through a variety of positions before managing a number of clients within the call centre operation. In early 2010 he was promoted to Business Development Manager for Pro-Mark’s call centre services.
